You have to join to a nice discussion at about it. I think you can contribute so much to this conversation with your knowledge.

Ball gets stuck before leaving the plunger lane at the top, deleting that metal thing there makes it playable

The concept to create originals 70's EM tables is excellent. The realisation is perfect.

Mandrake table is top. The pleasure is here

Another excellent table Daz! I just played your Phantom table and I checked to see if you had done any other tables and found this one. Lee Falk would be proud of your 2 tables :-) This ones back glass reminds me of Card Whiz (1976 Gottlieb) which I used to own for a while. Hey, I didn't know Mandrake was a Goa'uld, lol. I saw his eyes light up in the backglass. I like your "playing pinnies at the pub" background sounds. If these 2 tables are your first efforts, I can't wait to see what other great tables you can do Daz. Is Ginger Meggs on the cards? lol. Keep up the fantastic work and go the Aussies! Cheers!

Thanks a lot, Daz, for this update !

As for your table " The Phantom ", all the improvements make me to like the table "Mandrake The Magician* even more.

You realized a magnificent original table in mind of the 70's, a period which I like very much ... So, I like very much this table.

A big Bravo and thank you infinitely for this magnificent realization

A thing of real beauty, and very nice to play too. The playfield graphics are superbly designed, the sounds are insanely realistic. An absolute joy. Congratulations on another wonderful original.

Now if only someone could mod it with explosion graphics and holographic video clips it'd be perfect! j/k.

Love the old tables and this one is designed really well.  The machine is WAAAAAAAAAY too easy so i lowered the side rails (SHORTENED) and got rid of the bounce back pin between the flippers. It was almost impossible to lose the ball and the games would go on just too long. GREAT JOB !

"I don’t really have the skills to recreate a real table" Are you kidding? You have the skills to create what ever you want.  This table is awesome! I can't believe this was not a real 60's/70's table.  I for one am having a ball with this table, the sounds the visuals, this IS pinball!  Wow!

A++++ Great Table. have played it for a few hours now. minor issue. Would be nice if backglass would display 100,000 200,000 300,000 marks. Love these EM tables

First-class work! Alluring and utterly authentic-looking. You would've had a promising design career back in pinball's heyday.

(Sorry for my earlier cheeky comment wondering if the table were "magically imaginary"... For some reason your listing appeared with no photos or DL link.)

Thank you darrin. The table is really beautiful, and I can't believe it's not a recreation. Smile

Under rendering quality, I had to uncheck high quality textures to get the playfield to display, and what a beatiiful playfield it is! I also lowered the strength of flippers and so far the tables plays great. Thanks again.

Table detail

Mandrake the Magician 1.1 stats

This is an original table built in the style of those wonderful 70s EM tables that I used to love as a kid.

I don’t really have the skills to recreate a real table so I made up my own.

This was a lot of fun to make and hopefully a few people from time to time will have some fun playing it.

Version 1.1 has 6-digit reels on the backglass and a few very minor table changes and sound improvements.
