Lucky hand is my most favorite game I used to play this game on superiorpapers.com review since long time. This game is very old but always have the new theme and new name. That is the really cool and superlative thing about this game which I considered.
Overall I appreciate the fact that Margoni made this great table. Unfortunately there seem to be many bugs or inaccuracies. The upper rollovers should be relit after completing and they should avance the card sequence. I am in the difficult situation to not know this add-a-ball version of Jacks Open very well. Hint: Drop targets reset after shooting the WOW and give an EB
Thanks Swallis7 - that got rid of the ERROR and appears not to affect anything. This machine still needs a lot of fine tuning to make it play realisticaly.
Swallis7: Thanks, that does fix the table error but...
to Margoni, the author: Besides the fact that the flippers are way too strong and the ball seems way too light for a vintage Gottlieb table; I think the logic is wrong. The targets don't reset. I've knocked them all down and then what? They don't reset. Nothing to go for. The graphics are nice and clean and knowing vintage Gottlieb, there should be a goal to go for. I believe when it says for example, shoot for the 2 jacks, they should reset after you hit them and you get that bonus and they reset (all up), then you go for the 3 queens etc... If I find the time to fix it, are you willing to submit an update or MOD if you will?. It looks like a classic 70's Gottlieb table that's fun and a real challenge to play. I'm willing if you are! Again, really nice table but more of a WIP.
Pops up with the following error:
Unabled to Open Library - C:\Games\Future Pinball\Tables_Elab\Lucky Hand\Lucky BMPThere will be some functions missing from the game
I Hit Ok, & table loads & plays fine EDIT:
Thanks swallis7, that worked, really appreciate it. My playfield looking crappy as well, only when playing table, makes no since....
I get that error too. I'm not sure if this is the proper image but: Click "Table", then "Texture Manager", click "rubber-emwheel", click "Import From Library", choose ...Future Pinball\Libraries\fpTextures, then choose "rubber-emwheel". Then select the "rubber-emwheel" with the wrong disk location and click "Delete".
Why does the playfield look so lousy? The playfield.bmp looks fine.
Maybe you could use this table to make Jacks Open (Gottlieb 1977). They are VERY similar tables.
mais donne pas de pts au centre dans le couloir gauche (no pts in center left side)?
I like this table - thank you Margoni!
